Everyone’s skin is different.

We have different skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with treatment and skincare options out there, and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.

If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more confident in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a specialist practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin  and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin examination and assessment, so we can create the right and skincare plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or from so we can fully your skin, the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or . Your skin will also be examined under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress  your plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and monthly skincare and plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of  including peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and to use at home. Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

Book a General skin and (https://www.tlcark.com) skin consultation with a specialist nurse or practitioner. Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin concerns mild acne, congested skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully  for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised  plan will be . If you have more pronounced skin that a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .

To secure an appointment, we will a deposit. Your credit or debit card details will be secured against your . For Practitioner or Nurse consultations we take a fully ( to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.

Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your concerns and create a recommended treatment plan.

The is completely free, but we do a £25 to secure your consultation. You won’t be if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your over 48 hours before your in line with our cancellation policy.​

The cost of your and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but can start from £59, on your clinic.

Your consultation will be with one of our nurses or practitioners with extensive of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the if you wish.

Our expert skin will ask a variety of which are to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:

You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time your skin. We cannot fully your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or sensitivity.
